26 June 2023. Dubai - Luxembourg. Trigger Software announced today it joined FinTech Community of the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL). The mission of the ABBL is to promote the sustainable development of regulated, innovative and responsible banking services in Luxembourg.

Nowadays 120 banks operate in Luxembourg and 26,000 people work in the banking sector in Luxembourg. 929 bn € assets are held under management in the private banking sector (December 2022). The financial sector in Luxembourg represents around a third of the country's GDP and contributes over 20% of fiscal revenues.

Today, the ABBL is the largest professional association in the financial sector of Luxembourg, representing the majority of financial institutions as well as regulated financial intermediaries, law firms, consultancies, auditors, market infrastructures, e-money and payment institutions.

The ABBL focuses on the topics which matter most to financial professionals, and which will have the greatest impact on their business in the years to come. Digital transformation of banking is one of the main strategic topics at the ABBL. In this regard, the focus is on three main areas: Digitalisation in the banking sector, FinTech and Innovation, and Payments.
